Why I Chose Poetry

Growing up I always searched for a way to express myself that made me fully understand what I’m feeling. I began to write down thoughts in a poetic way, without realizing that it was poetry that I was craving. To me, poetry is abstract art in the form of words. Feel free to understand my words however you so chose. The feelings it creates is what is important.
