Pleasure in Pain

Is there some kind of pleasure in pain?
Do we chose to punish ourselves to make ourselves feel better?
Do we take the razors to our wrist to say I’m sorry?
Do we stick our finger down our throats to say I take it back?
Do we give up on ourselves because we believe everyone else has?
Does this make us feel better?

Turn around.

Believe in yourself because everyone believes in you.
Swallow your food because you love your body.
Use the razor to trim your hair and say, “I’m beautiful”.
Reward yourself for being you.
Your body and mind need you to love you.

Note- Sometimes we can get into a mindset that is steering us in the absolute wrong direction. Once we get on a role it’s so hard to stop ourselves. Frame your self talk to be positive and can lead you towards love rather than hate so you can make yourself happy. I wrote this because people go through things that can be hard to hear, but doesn’t mean it isn’t good to hear them. Love yourself!!!❤️

  1. I’m glad you’re talking about such deep and personal situations people go through. We ignore them and pretend like life is this happy unicorn festival of pretty colors all the time. Let’s love ourselves through the rough parts and remind those who’ve lost sight of the bigger picture, what they’re worth. I love you Becca thank you for giving me a reminder ❤
